Peak District & Tipi Wedding

The Peak District is one of the most beautiful stretches of landscape in the country. Here, in the heart of Derbyshire, you’ll find high, rolling hills filled with sheep, winding country roads at a high altitude and incredible views at every turn. Regardless of the season, in which you plan to marry, the Peak District will provide you with a perfect pastoral backdrop.

If you’re feeling adventurous, we can hike a little way from the venue to capture some memories on the more rugged outcrops and stony paths. If you prefer to stay where your bridal heels are not going to cause you discomfort, we can ensure that we capture the romantic moorland behind you from within the manicured grounds of your venue, or Curbar Edge and Stanage Edge.

There are plenty of stunning, fairytale venues in the Peak District, such as Chatsworth House and The Maynard, but if you’re looking for something atypical, with a very special vibe, you might find a tipi of interest. This is a company that hires out beautiful Scandinavian style tipi's. These are no ordinary wedding tents. Styled in the traditional Nordic manner they come complete with wood-burning fires and a reindeer hide décor. You’ll enjoy a very cosy wedding ceremony and reception here as they contain heaters to keep you warm.

I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph many weddings in the Peak District. I’m familiar with many of the most picturesque view points here. Please have a look at my Peak District and tipi photo gallery to get an idea of the sort of images I can provide.
