Hodsock Priory

Hodsock Priory is an award-winning Nottinghamshire wedding venue. It’s one of those fairytale locations that not only offers an incredible 800 acres of stunning backdrop for your wedding photographs, but also an excellent and exclusive service. It can be found on the border between South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.

An in-house team will be on hand to help you with the planning, give you all the details you need about arranging food and florists, as well as advise you on which function rooms are going to best suit your individual needs.

Wedding ceremonies and receptions can both take place here. There's also accommodation for you and a few guests, so you’ll have use of the bridal suite in a building which once entertained none other than the infamous historic king; Henry VIII. Your wedding album will show the grand reception room in its fully decorated glory, as well as contain plenty of shots of just the two of you taking a few minutes away from your guests to enjoy the view from the bridge near the Gatehouse and the romantic atmosphere of the lake.

We’ll take a quick but relaxed stroll through the woods, which are carpeted with snowdrops in February and bluebells in May. There are woodland walkways and garden paths that are both romantic and intimate. Hodsock Priory is a stunning venue all year round with ample and dramatic photo opportunities.
